About Chris Ortega

Christopher Ortega, a 25-year-old first-generation Mexican American, hails from the lively city of Las Vegas. Growing up, he was profoundly influenced by the dedication and resilience of his immigrant parents, which instilled in him a strong work ethic and a deep passion for art.

Chris has made a name for himself in the tattoo industry, particularly with his exceptional Pokémon tattoos. His artistic versatility is evident in his ability to create both stunning black and grey pieces as well as vibrant color tattoos. Whether it’s fantastical, crazy fantasy colors or cool serious black and gray, Chris’s work always stands out. 
 

 Despite facing skeptics who doubted the viability of a career in art, Chris initially pursued a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), dedicating five years to caring for elderly patients. This experience not only enriched his life but also taught him invaluable lessons and deepened his appreciation for following one's passion.

It was the heartfelt encouragement from his elderly patients, who recognized his potential and urged him to pursue his dreams, that ultimately led Chris to leave his CNA career and fully embrace his true calling as a tattoo artist. Though the transition was challenging, his determination and talent have propelled him forward, enabling him to build a successful career doing what he loves most.

Today, Chris continues to create engaging content, and remains committed to pushing the boundaries of his art while forming meaningful connections with his clients.
